Debb Carl has been a resident of Sedona for over 22 years and a successful real estate agent selling real estate in Sedona. In her beginnings of working in Real Estate with Century 21, Debb was awarded "Rookie of the Year" outselling everyone her first year. Quickly thereafter, she and partner Airen Sapp were named top ten sales people with Century 21. After leaving Century 21 as number two in sales, Debb and Airen decided to move to RE/MAX Sedona, which is where they were until January 2011.
Within their first year at RE/MAX Sedona, 2008, the two were named #5 in sales in the SW Region of RE/MAX for October. By the end of the year Debb and Airen were also awarded the 100% Club status, and locally, among over 700 realtors, were named the top 20 in sales. In 2009 they were again named in the top 100 agents in sales, and now in 2010 they were once again ranked in the top 20 in sales in the Sedona/Verde Valley areas.
With an ever changing market they felt it was a smart move to align themselves with the leading brokerage in Sedona, Russ Lyon Sotheby's International. Both Debb and Airen feel the move to Russ Lyon Sotheby's International is a step up the ladder and they are confident that the tools that Russ Lyon Sotheby's offers will assist them in providing a better level of service to each and every client.
Prior to working in real estate, Debb Carl worked as a telecommunication specialist in Southern California. With her many talents, Debb took a handful of positions in Sedona including general manager of a tour company and working in the food industry. Growing a network of people around her, she eventually opened an art gallery with her partner Airen. Debb pursued interests creating steel sculpture and wrote a fictional novel that she and Airen self-published and marketed together.
Airen Sapp has also been a resident of Sedona for over 22 years. Prior to her success with partner Debb Carl as a Sedona realtor, Airen was a graphic designer and graduated from Utah State with a BS in Graphic Arts. Airen paints in the Sumi-e style of painting. She came to Sedona and worked as a director in a major art gallery in Sedona before buying in as a partner. After meeting Debb, Airen sold her interest in that gallery and she and Debb opened a gallery of their own. Airen was a founding member of the SGA (Sedona Gallery Association) and throughout the years has devoted much of her time on committees for the arts, such as Sedona Art Center and the Sedona Arts Festival. Through her years of living, working and interacting with the artists and community of Sedona, she has built a large network of locals and support in the business of real estate.
